I wonder if you can spike fire cider...or cook it on low heat in a crock pot or Dutch oven - to infuse as an alternative....
Update: I cooked mine in my 2 small dutch ovens and strained it out after 2 1/2 hours .I added 1/2 c honey and previously added 1/4;c stevia while stirring it from time to time. Even though I just used dried spices and didn't have any fresh herbs, it's got a nice kick to it. You can make your fire cider with whatever you want, really. I would prefer the fresh herbs but this worked. I'll take a picture in a little while. I have it in a pickle jar but a dark glass decanter is best to keep it in. Fermentation takes 3-4 weeks and probably has more probiotics than my soupy kind. I added some moringa powder to make up for it. The drained solids are dehydrating. I'll use them for making a marinade or add it to soup or something.
Please forgive me; I'm very busy. I need to go shake my vanilla bottle now..
